Privacy Policy

Last updated: 13 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Arvine Labs collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit our website or get in touch with us. We are committed to handling your data transparently and in line with applicable Swiss and European data-protection law.

1. Who we are

Arvine Labs (“Arvine Labs”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is a Swiss innovation studio based in Lausanne, Switzerland. We are the controller responsible for the personal data processed through the website arvinelabs.ch (the “Website”). You can reach us via our contact form.

2. Data we collect

  • Information you provide. When you use our contact form, we collect the name, company, email address and message you submit.
  • Information stored on your device. If you “like” or comment on a venture, that information is stored locally in your browser and is not transmitted to us.
  • Technical data. Our hosting provider may automatically process limited technical data (such as your IP address and browser type) in server logs to deliver and secure the Website.

3. How we use your data

We use personal data to respond to your enquiries and communicate with you; to operate, maintain and secure the Website; and to comply with our legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data.

4. Legal basis

We process personal data on the basis of your consent (for example, when you contact us), our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Website, and compliance with applicable law. Where the EU/EEA General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, these correspond to our legal bases under Article 6 GDPR.

5. Service providers

We rely on selected service providers who process data on our behalf:

  • Web3Forms — delivers contact-form submissions to us by email.
  • Vercel — hosts the Website and processes server logs.

These providers act as our processors and may store data outside Switzerland under appropriate safeguards.

6. Cookies and local storage

The Website does not use tracking or advertising cookies. It uses your browser’s local storage only to remember the ventures you have liked or commented on, on your own device. You can clear this at any time in your browser settings.

7. Data retention

We keep contact correspondence for as long as necessary to handle your request and for our legitimate business and legal record-keeping, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

8. International transfers

Where data is transferred outside Switzerland or the EU/EEA, we take appropriate safeguards to ensure an adequate level of protection, in line with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the GDPR.

9. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, rectify, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to processing, and to data portability. You may also lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority — in Switzerland, the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

10. Data security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above indicates when it was last revised.

12. Contact
